The store is a collaborative endeavor of Garfield and Heather Teddy, high school sweethearts who’ve known each other since their middle school days, and Chuck and Lisa Stadler, the proud owners of the popular Lazy Dog Pizza in Frankenmuth.
Married for 18 delightful years and parents to four incredible children – Brice, Racheal, Andrew, and Logan, Garfield and Heather have called Caro, Michigan, their home for over a decade. With Heather’s dedicated service as a CNA with rtNOW and MediLodge and Garfield’s vast experience as a seasoned truck driver and former manager at Lazy Dog Pizza, they leaped at a unique opportunity to open a convenience store in their treasured community. The inspiration from their children, their love for their neighborhood, and their steadfast commitment to their community led to the birth of Crossroads Convenience Store.
The store, located at the former site of the beloved Lucky’s Kountry Korner, has undergone a significant transformation. Crossroads now boasts a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a diverse array of snacks, and recently added ice and party kegs to cater to your special occasions. The store embodies Garfield’s vibrant humor and the collective ambition of the owners to make a positive impact on their community.
